What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Local storage is a similar space in your browser where a site can keep information. We call both of them "cookies" on this page.
What we use
Needed for the shop to work
These keep your cart and checkout working. They stay in your own browser's local storage, not on our servers, which is why clearing your browser data empties your cart. They do not need your consent.
- hydsg_cart: the items in your cart.
- hydsg_discount: a discount code you have applied.
- hydsg_delivery: the shipping option you picked in your cart.
- A checkout record: when you go to payment, a copy of your cart and the details you entered is kept for a short time, so your order can be confirmed when you come back from Stripe or PayPal. It is removed once your order is confirmed.
When you pay, Stripe or PayPal may set their own cookies on their payment pages, for example to keep the payment secure and prevent fraud.
Analytics and advertising measurement
No optional analytics or advertising measurement tag is currently configured on this site.
Other services on our pages
- Fonts. Our pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers when a page loads.
- Forms. Our contact, wholesale quote and review feedback forms load from our own form system at app-marketing-command-centre.vercel.app.
These providers handle data under their own privacy and cookie policies, which you can read on their websites.
Managing browser storage and optional cookies
Because no optional analytics or advertising tag is currently configured, the site does not show an optional-cookie banner.
You can also block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, usually from the privacy or security menu. Blocking the ones the shop needs will stop your cart from working.
